All Roads Lead To The... Dune Of Pilat

Thanks to the excellent motorway and road network, the dune is easily accessible. But beware, especially in high season, you should be prepared to traffic jams!

Please be aware that if you use the car park during the period between 2am and 5am, you will have to pay a fee of 50 euros!

 

Did you know?

If you want to save the money for the parking lot or if it's too crowded, you may take - at the roundabout in front of the dune - the direction of Arcachon and then turn left at the next roundabout (towards "La Corniche"). After a few hundred meters, you'll find a certain nummer of free parking lots at the left and the right side of the street. At the sharp left turn in front of the restaurant a staircase leads to the beach and the dune.

 

However, this way to the dune is longer and takes more time!
