Dunes and deserts

Whoever visits the Dune du Pilat is overwhelmed by the beauty and vastness of the landscape. Although it is surrounded by forest and sea, there are some places where you really feel like you are standing in a desert. But as soon as you go a little further, the view falls back to the Atlantic ocean, the offshore sandbank and Cap Ferret, so that you are quickly brought back from your dreams.

 

Those who enjoy walking on the dune will surely wonder which other dunes there are and if they look like the Dune du Pilat? In 2019 we will deal with this matter in order to get you from the "European desert" to the real deserts of the world. Who doesn't feel wanderlust with these pictures?
